Sweden, b. 1963. Lives in Stockholm.

Studied composition between 1994-99 at The Royal University of Music in Stockholm, including electroacoustic composition, and received a Master degree in 1999.

First sound art work: Vaggsång för fiskar 1992.

 

Vaggsång för fiskar was created for a videoinstallation by Karlin and Svensson for the exhibition "The Image of Idealism". The exhibition was touring 1992-93 with The Swedish Council of Exhibitions in Sweden and in Finland.

Skog composed the tape piece Genesis (1998) using concrete sounds and FM synthesis. Genesis has been performed in Swedish radio and in different concerts in Sweden.

1999 she composed together with J.Broberg Another scent, an 8-channel piece for an installation at the Water Festival in Stockholm.

2005 she composed Sagobiljetten at EMS. Sagobiljetten was performed at the Elektråpark, Båstad chamber music festival, the Festival for Acousmatic Art Futura2005 in France, Vågform in Gävle, in the Swedish Radio program Monitor and at the Californian festival Voice on the Edge '06.

 

Skog has been teaching the subject Introduction to Electroacoustic music at EMS (The Institute for Electroacoustic Music in Sweden) evening seminars 1999-2004. She has also worked part time at EMS as a studioassistant since 2001. Since June '05 she has an employment as a studio secretary at EMS. The secretary work includes to plan and arrange concerts, plan and schedule educations and arrange seminars.
